If your happiness is held hostage by some future conditions happening, then the present moment would be filled with worries, fears and anxieties.
You won’t enjoy doing what you do now and when that happens, the journey to success would actually be harder. And this is the paradox – Don’t live for the future by living in the future.
Live in the now.
Don’t wait for the present conditions to be perfect before beginning your journey.
Many times, you won’t know exactly how the roads are going to be, you just move.
You take it one step at a time, one day at a time.
I really like what the legendary Coach John Wooden said, “Make each day your masterpiece.” Notice that he didn’t say make your future a masterpiece. All you ever have is the present day and how it ends is up to you.
Don’t get ready for ‘the day’, you have Today and live it well.
